Cleaning toys

Proper hygienic maintenance of toys is essential for the safety of the child and the durability of materials over time. Considering the type of toy, you can follow a few basic instructions:

Plastic toys
  • Clean the plastic toys with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
  • You can use lukewarm running water when the toy does not have holes, cavities or specific shapes that retain moisture.
  • Never clean under running water toys that have electrical or mechanical power, including electricity, batteries or delicate internal mechanisms.
  • Do not use heavy detergents to avoid damaging the color and shape of the toy.
  • Always follow the individual cleaning instructions on the product label.
Plush toys
  • Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush-type cleaning nozzle to remove dust and allergens that have accumulated in plush toys.
  • You can wash plush toys by soaking briefly in soapy water, gently squeezing and drying at room temperature. For this purpose, use ordinary baby soap, which has no additional color.
  • If the label allows it, you can wash the plush toys with a delicate cycle of the washing machine – without a spin and without the use of a dryer.
  • You can use a service for dry cleaning of plush toys, if the label of the product allows it and if the chosen company guarantees the safety of the procedure.
  • Always follow the individual cleaning instructions on the product label.
Silicone and rubber toys
  • Clean silicone and rubber toys with a mild detergent and a damp microfiber cloth.
  • You can clean under lukewarm running water when the construction does not involve moisture retention.
  • Never place under running water rubber and silicone toys that run on electricity or batteries, as well as those with additional metal mechanisms.
  • Always follow the individual cleaning instructions on the product label.
